Description

For past 45 years, thousands of couples have been benefited by the Prenatal Project implemented by Manashakti Research Centre, Lonavla (India). A resplendent and cultured new generation is the outcome of it. Basically, the Research Centre conducts the experiments at ‘mental’ i.e. thought level. Now Manashakti has gone further by adding Yogic exercises on ‘physical’ level too. Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana (S-VYASA), Bangalore is a leading and reputed institute in the field of Yoga. With the kind co-operation of Dr. H. R. Nagendra, Ph.D., (Director, S-VYASA) and Dr. Nagaratna, M.D. (S-VYASA), Manashakti is presenting these ‘Yoga Exercises during Pregnancy.’

Practicing Yoga consistently is necessary to maintain good health, more so during the pregnancy period.

While the fetus grows in the mother’s womb, the expecting mother puts on weight. At such times, by practicing specific yogasanas, the would-be mother can remain active and it further helps her to bear with labor pain and aids in an easy delivery. These yogasanas also help to lessen temporary complaints during pregnancy, such as backache, constipation, fatigue, swelling and so on. Pregnant women are suggested specific yogasanas as per their pregnancy- trimesters (every three months). The yogasanas are to be practiced only after consulting your physician.
