Garbh Sangeet Second Trimester (Three to Six Months): This is the golden and very important period during the pregnancy, because, in the eighteenth month, the fetus is able to listen. It tries to become synchronous with its mother’s heart beats, and so melodious, rhythmic Garbh Sangeet creates an environment that makes it peaceful and helps its healthy growth. Also, mother-child relations become strong. The foundations of this relationship are formed.
Garbhopanishad, Gayatri Mantra, ‘Ruchas’ in Vedas that preach social equality are all composed through melody in this composition. Sanskrit shlokas, mantras and their meanings are given in the accompanying booklet.
